아시아태평양지역 대학생 수학경시대회인 Simon Marais Math Competition에 7년 전부터 KAIST도 참가하여 여러 학생이 수상했습니다.

2025년 대회에 참가할 KAIST 학부생들을 모집합니다. 개최 일시는 **10월 11일 (토요일)**이며, 3시간 시험이 두 번 실시됩니다. 정확한 시간은 추후 대회 홈페이지에 공지됩니다.
참가신청 마감: 2025.9.5. (금요일)

참가비는 선착순 50개의 팀까지는 무료입니다. 개인으로 참가하거나 짝(pair)으로 참가할 수 있습니다.
짝(pair)으로 참가하는 경우 시험 중 두 명이 서로 논의를 하면서 문제를 풀어 제출하게 됩니다.
답안은 영어로 작성하여야 합니다.

• 자격: KAIST 학사 과정 학생
  (2025년 가을학기 현재 KAIST 학부과정 재학생으로서, 휴학 제외 학부 재학기간이 4년을 넘지 않을 것. 현재 휴학생도 참여 가능)

Eligibility: Undergraduate students at pre-registered universities located between New Zealand Standard Time and Indian Standard Time

Entry: Students can enter individually or in pairs, with prizes.

Format: Two three-hour exams on Saturday 11 October 2025. Specific times will be announced later at the exam homepage.
The exam will be at KAIST.

Problems: Challenging problems using core undergraduate mathematics. Possibly one open problem in afternoon exam.
