1. 개요 Description

    ㈜미원홀딩스 김정돈 회장의 기부와 뜻에 따라 KAIST 수리과학 분야에서 탁월한 신진 연구자가 연구에 전념하여 더 높은 성과를 낼 수 있도록 연구지원금을 전달하며, 연구 지원을 받은 자가 훗날 더 많은 후학들을 위하여 베풀기를 바라는 마음을 담아 명칭을 “두명 펠로우십”이라 한다.
In line with Chairman Kim Jeong-don's philanthropic intentions, Miwon Holdings is providing research grants in the field of mathematical sciences at KAIST to support outstanding young researchers, with the hope that they will dedicate themselves to their research and achieve even greater results. Named the 'Du-Myeong Fellowship,' it is our wish that reci   pients of this support will one day pass on their knowledge to future generations.

2. 선정대상 Qualification

   KAIST 수리과학과 소속 또는 KAIST 수리과학 관련 연구기관 소속 비전임 신진 연구인력으로서 학문적 우수성 또는 잠재성을 보인 자
Newly employed part-time researchers in the Department of Mathematics at KAIST or those affiliated with related research institutions may apply, demonstrating academic excellence or potential.

3. 지원 내역 및 선정인원 Support details and selected individuals

   매 학기 1명 유지, 900만원/학기 지급(4월, 10월중 : 지급 시점에 KAIST 재직 요), 지원기간은 1년 또는 2년

    One researcher will be supported each semester, receiving 9 million KRW per semester (granted in April and October, contingent upon their employment at KAIST at the time of disbursement). The support period is for either one or two years.

4. 수여 후 조건 Requirement after Award

   수혜자는 두명 펠로우십 프로그램의 도움을 받은 연구의 논문 게재 시, 펠로우십 프로그램의 지원을 받았음을 언급하는 사사 표시
Recipients must acknowledge the support of the Du-Myeong Fellowship program when publishing papers resulting from research aided by the fellowship, through proper citation.
