New Faculty: Dr. Kyeongsik Nam

Received a Ph.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 2020, Dr. Kyeongsik Nam joins the Department of Mathematical Sciences on September 1, 2021 as an assistant professor.

Prior to KAIST, Dr. Nam worked as Hedrick Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from July 2020 to July 2021.

Specialized in probability theory and its applications, he currently focuses on statistical mechanics and Gibbs measures, random matrix theory, and stochastic differential equations.
