| The Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (ACMS) at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Statistics to begin in July or August 2017. The initial contract will be for one year, which can be extended to another upon satisfactory performance. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning or related fields with a strong background in computation. The postdoc is expected to have basic knowledge of Differential Geometry or Algebraic Geometry/Topology. The main duty for the position is research. The candidate will mainly work on projects related to using geometric and topological tools for dynamic network analysis. The postdoc will be jointly supervised by Profs. Lizhen Lin and Dong Quan Nguyen. To apply, please submit a cover letter, CV, research statement, and three letters of research references to this website.
