KAIST has been participating in the Simon Marais Mathematics Competition, an Asia-Pacific regional university student math contest, for the past 5 years, and several students have received awards.

We are now recruiting KAIST undergraduate students to participate in the 2023 competition. The event will take place on October 14th (Saturday), and the exact time will be announced on the competition's website at a later date.

Application Deadline: September 8, 2022.

Students can participate individually or in pairs. For pair participation, two individuals will work together and submit solutions while discussing the problems during the exam. Answers must be written in English.

Exam Venue: KAIST

Eligibility: KAIST undergraduate students (Currently enrolled in KAIST undergraduate program for the fall semester of 2023, the undergraduate enrollment period, excluding any leave of absence, should not exceed 4 years. Currently enrolled students on leave of absence are also eligible to participate.)
