Abstract: A network represents interconnecting relations between discrete objects using some meaningful links. It is natural that its structure can be represented by a graph whose vertices denote discrete objects and whose edges represent their links. Thus, it has become an especially useful concept in analysis of the interaction between discrete objects. We discuss mathematics on networks, introducing derivatives, integration, and differential calculus. Borrowing ideas and techniques from those of the continuous domain we consider the Partial Differential Equations, such as p-Laplacian equations and p-SchrOdinger equations on networks. As applications, a denoising technology in image processing is discussed.
