As you saw in the syllabus,

"If you miss more than three classes without permission during the semester, your course grade will be lowered by one step."

We TAs decided to score the absence is -1 point and the lateness is -0.5 point.

If someone has -3.5 point for the total attendance score, It will get no disadvantage.

But, A student got  greater than or equal to -4 point, one's course grade will be lowered by only one step.

No cumulation. ^^

3번 넘게 결석하는 학생들은, 한 그레이드 감점됩니다.

-3.5 점을 받은 학생까지는 불이익이 없으나, -4점 이상의 학생은 한 단계만 감점시키기로 하셨습니다.
