Hi, this is Hojoo Lee. I'm one of the TAs for Honor Calculus I.

(A) My Recitation Classes

* I hold two sessions: Monday 17:00-18:00 (room 401) and Monday 18:00-19:00 (room 401)
(All 8 recitation classes for Honor Calculus I will be held in Creative Learning building.)
Notice that we have 218 students in Honor Calculus I. Now, you do the math: 218 / 8 = 27.25
The policy for Honor Calculus I is that, in each class, the maximum number of students is 30.

* In my sessions, I'll probably speak Korean. However, both blackboard writing and weekly quiz
problems will be entirely given in English.
We hope that students who could not understand
Korean attend one of Thursday sessions. In the case when you cannot make it, you should contact
Byung-wha Lim who is the Head TA.

* Our First meeting is Monday, March 5th. I'll confirm the list of students. Here is a surprising
news: on our first day, there will be an 'unofficial' 10-minutes quiz. It will cover section 1.6, 2.3 and 2.4.
Don't be so scary: the score of this 'unofficial' quiz does not count. However, the result can have a
strong effect on our furture 'official' quizzes.

(B) Weekly In-class Quizzes

* There will be weekly written quizzes lasting 10-15 minutes at the beginning of each
   recitation class.
The quiz problems will be copied from the homework or will be similar to
homework problems. We have no quizzes during the midterm week and finals week.

* No usage of calculators will be permitted during quiz. No books, notes or friends!
If I catch you cheating on a quiz or on an exam, you will receive an F for the course and the
Dean's office will be notified. (In fact, 2 years ago, I caught a no-brain student who was
cheating on a calculus miterm.) The only thing you can use is your brain:)

* There will be no make-up quizzes. If you miss one, you will get 0 points for the quiz.
    Attendance is very important.
