Abstract : In our talk we present some new applications of the modular technique developed by Kraus, Wiles. Skinner, Bennett and others to resolution of Diophantine problems. Using this up-to date method sharp upper bounds for the solutions of classical Diophantine equations, including binomial Thue-Mahler equations are given.
