Abstract: This is joint work with Kai Cieliebak. We consider a
Lagrange multiplier functional on an exact symplectic manifold.
We prove that if the constraint manifold is contact its Floer
homology is well defined. As an application of the computation of
this new Floer homology we get obstructions to exact contact
embeddings.
