Professor Hyunki Min joined the department as an Assistant Professor on August 1, 2026. He received his Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021. He then held positions as a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT (2021–2022), a Hedrick Assistant Adjunct Professor at UCLA (2022–2025), and a Limited Term Professor at the University of Georgia (2025–2026). His research focuses primarily on low-dimensional topology and contact geometry.
