The FINAL EXAM will cover the following sections:
6.1 ; 6.2 ; 6.3 ; 6.4 ; 6.6 ; 11.1 ; 11.2 ; 11.3 ; 11.4 ; 11.5

The remaining Problem Solving Sections will be used for preparation for the FINALS. Work on problem solving and bring lots of questions to your TAs!

The last lecture will be on Thursday, December 8. On Tuesday December 13 will be an optional review session.

The following problems are only suggestions. You should try to solve as many additional problems as possible. Also remember that at the end of each chapter is a section with additional Practice Exercises and Advanced Exercises: TRY THEM!

Weekly Progress

Here we update the progress made in the lectures.

Problem solving sections

Every week there will be Problem Solving Sections. It is important that everyone attends this. Each week there will be a list of suggested problems. Some of these you must hand in as homework (see below).

Every week you should work on the suggested problems. If there are any exercises in the book that you have difficulties with you should let your TA know. They will answer your questions during the Problem Solving Sections.

The second hour of the Problem Solving Sections will be used for working in groups on next weeks problems. Your TA will be present to assist you.
