Sinuk Kang received the “Best Student Paper Award” at SampTA 2011

Sinuk Kang, a graduate student of our department, received the “Best Student Paper Award” for the paper entitled “Recovery of missing samples in shift invariant space (co-author: Prof. Kil Hyun Kwon)” at the 9th International Conference on Sampling Theory and Applications (SampTA 2011). SampTA 2011 was held for the first time in Asia at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore in May 2-6, 2011, and is an interdisciplinary conference gathering mathematicians, engineers and applied scientists with main purpose to exchange recent advanced in sampling theory and to explore new directions in the related areas of application.
